Economy
The citrus fruits tourism and cultures, of bananas, lawyers, and of cane with sugar are the economic main resources of Vieques.
Tourism
This island, although very pretty, is especially known for its camp of drive of the Armed forces of the United States. It is accessible by boat in 1:00 since Fajardo, or in 30 minutes from the small island of Culebra, and by plane since San Juan in 20 min. the island is a place considered for deep-sea diving, and shelters especially one of the three bays bioluminescent of Porto-Rico, called Mosquito bay .
Culture
There exist several small cultural festivals during the year.
