Vidyananda or Vidyanandin , known as also Patra Kesarin , is a philosophical Indian jaïna of the 9th century.

Influenced by Akalanka to which he proclaims the heir, he refuted, in his treaties, the design Mimansaka of a omniscient God creative inaugurated by Kumarila Bhatta, while defending the traditional designs jaïna.
