Vidy
Vidy is a district of the town of Lausanne located at the edge of the Lac Léman.
There is a port of a capacity of approximately 800 boats, a football stadium, the stage of Pierre-of-Coubertin, which were created both in 1964 for the Swiss Exposition national of 1964, on embankments, and it was necessary, on this occasion, to advance several hundreds of meters on the lake, all that was usable was used, of the ground trucks to the carcasses of cars. There are also the Pyramids, a camp-site, a swimming pool, some coffees, several restaurants and the Vidy-Lausanne Theater.
The Lausanne-Sports Oar and the Rowing Club Lausanne, clubs of oar, are also located at Vidy.
In the month of October 2006, the town of Lausanne opened a Bowl (concrete skatepark) close to the stage of coubertin. This skatepark is located beside the grounds of volleys and has a few tens of meters of the edge of the lake Léman.
