Video J

Video J (delivery ビデオジェイ , bideo jei ) is a Manga of Michiyo Akaishi. Published initially in the numbers of October 2003 to May 2005 of the magazine Puchikomikku (Shōgakukan), it was the subject of an edition by Flower Comics in three volumes connected. It comprises ten chapters, called “page”, each one ending in the summary by heroin of the day which has been just passed.

This manga turns around the world of the Journalisme, and more precisely video-journalism.

Short summary of the history

Since the murder of his family, rich owner of a great group, Juri Kirishima flees the murderers, who carry a Tatouage of scorpion on the hand.

Whereas she flees once again, helped by her Kengo boyfriend, she meets a journalist, J, which is involved in its life. But Kengo, to protect it, dies, involving with him two of the three meutriers.

Knowing only to make, Juri comes to place at J, and helps it in its work. Gradually it takes taste there. But its past catches up with it, and it is obliged to face.

Characters

Juri Kirishima (): nineteen years old, it is with the head of a great fortune, inherited its late family. Eyewitness of the murder of his close relations, it of forgot how to laugh.
Kengo (健吾): boyfriend of Juri, famous Actor. Although he only claims to make use of her and his fortune, he does not hesitate to die to protect it.
J, of its true name Jonfan Yu (): journalist Freelance very known in this medium, it always has a Caméra on the shoulder. He always observes all with large a Neutralité, and claims that all that is hidden appears on its films.
