Victoria (Between Ríos)

Victoria is a city of the south-west of the province Argentine of Between Ríos. It is located on Eastern bank of Río Paraná, opposite Rosario, in province of Santa Fe, to which it is connected since 2003 by the Pont Rosario-Victoria (which extends during not less than 60 km to the top from the easily flooded plain from the Delta from Paraná). Its population was of 28.495 inhabitants in 2001 (the victoriense ).

Tourism

The municipality has jurisdiction on 3.700 km ² of islands and small islands on Paraná, which ensures a famous tourist potential to him. Certain fishing zones are reserved for sporting fishing, while others are protected.

Each Victoria year offers one wide season of Carnaval; in 2005, for example, parades and dances took place every weekend from January to the beginning of March.
