Victor Sjöström

Victor Sjöström ( Victor Seastrom in the USA) (1879-1960) is a Acteur and Réalisateur of Cinéma Swedish.

Biography

Born with Sibodal in 1879, its family emigrates with the the United States when it is one year old. It sets out again in Sweden at the 17 years age and integrates an itinerant theater company. It makes its first film under the direction of Mauritz Stiller in 1912 and carries out the same year the Gardener . In 1924 it turns over to Hollywood where it carries out several films until in 1937 before setting out again in Sweden. Over there it takes again to its career of actor with the dedication in 1957 with the wild Strawberries of Ingmar Bergman. He dies in 1960.
