Victor Prus

Victor Marius Prus (Minsk Mazowiecki (Poland), April 24th, 1917 -) is a Architecte Québécois of Polish origin . He drew many buildings of prestige to the Quebec which gained several prices, of which the Grand Theater of Quebec, located in the Ville of Quebec. The plans of the Montreal board of adoption were selected at the end of a national Concours in 1964.

With his wife Maria Fisz Prus and various Associated S, it designs remarkable buildings which are characterized by an adapted “environment”, according to him, the “ultimate objective” of the Architecture. Its principal achievements include/understand the first Shopping mall Rockland, in 1960. Savoy Apartment Building in 1962, the Stage of Expo 67, Royal Canadian Air Force Memorial of Trenton in 1969, the Large Theater of Quebec (1964 - 1970), the Conservatory of music of Quebec in 1971, the astronomical Observatory Canada/France of Mauna Kea with Hawaii in 1977, as well as the International airport of Barbados and the Palate of the Congresses of Montreal in 1979.
