Victor Lejal

Victor-Emilien Lejal (1863 with Paris - July 1916) is a Chanteur French.

Wire of a small employee of Trade, it enters in Apprentissage at a Imprimeur at twelve years to provide for the needs for the family. It leaves the Imprimerie at twenty years to begin as a whimsical Chanteur in Alcazar from Dijon.

He then traverses the province, goes abroad (Belgium, Morocco, Algérie) where he learns his Métier.

In 1894, it is noticed by Paulus which engages it with the Ba' Your' Clan. It obtains one big hit which enables him to go up on the boards of Eldorado, of the Ambassadors. He attends then assiduement La Scala starting from 1897. In 1901, it is with the Madness-Shepherdess, then in 1903 with the Moulin-Rouge where there will remain three years to be sung in various reviews. One re-examines it thereafter in Parisiana and again with Scala starting from 1905. Meanwhile, he will have sung At Fantasio, with the Warbler, the Imagination-Parisian , the Ant, the Jardin of Paris, the Kursaal, the Titmouse, the Palais of Work… His activity seems to decline starting from 1910.

He dies in July 1916.
