Victor Goldbloom
Victor Charles Goldbloom , O.C, O.Q (July 31st, 1923 in Quebec with Montreal -) is a Médecin and politician Québécois.
He is graduate in medicine of the Université McGill (1945) and it taught the Pédiatrie there during several years. He is elected governor of what is today the Collège of the doctors of Quebec in 1962.
Political career
With the election of June 1966, he is elected appointed any news provincial district of Of Arcy-McGee under the banner of the Liberal party of Quebec. Re-elected with the election of April 1970, after four years in the opposition, he becomes the first member of the Jewish community of the Quebec to being named with the the Council of Ministers of Quebec. In December 1970 in Quebec, he becomes the first holder of the new ministry for the Environnement. In February 1973 in Quebec, it is also named Minister for the municipal Businesses. Re-elected for a third mandate with the election of October 1973, it preserves these two responsibilities. In November 1975 in Quebec, a major task is added to these responsibilities, that of minister responsible for the Régie Olympic installations. Re-elected with the National Assembly of Quebec for a fourth mandate with the election of November 1976, it is used until October 16th, 1979 for Quebec, dates to which it resigns of its seat.
After its Parliamentary career of , it occupied several important stations within the Québécois public administration. He will be president of the Bureau of public sittings on the environment (BAPE) of September 1st, 1987 in Quebec at January 15th, 1990 in Quebec, then police chief with the official languages of 1991 with 1999. He is, since September 19th, 2002 in Quebec chairman of the board of the regional Régie of health and the social services of Montreal-Center
He is member-founder of the board of directors of the Foundation-Jules and Paul-Emile Leger, of the Fondation Jean Lesage, the Musée of the religions of Nicolet and the Canadian Conseil for the indigenous trade.
