Victor Fleming is a realizer of American cinema born with Pasadena in California on February 23rd, 1883 and deceased with Cottonwood in the Arizona on January 6th, 1949.

Biography

After secondary studies with Los Angeles, Victor Fleming enters cinema industry by climbing the levels patiently. Operator, then director of the photography in 1915 for Griffith. It becomes acquainted then with Douglas Fairbanks. Lieutenant during the First World War, it will be to defer of war in 1918 and it will film for the army the voyage of the president Wilson in Europe. Of return in America, it carries out its first two films Cauchemars and superstitions and a wet Hen with Hollywood in 1920 thanks to the support of Fairbanks.
