Vicénzos Kornáros (in Greek Βικέντιος Κορνάρος ) or Vitséntzos Kornáros ( Βιτσέντζος Κορνάρος ), born the March 29th 1553 and died in 1613, is a writer crétois, born with Héraklion or Sitia during the Venetian occupation. He wrote the major work of the modern Greek literature, the Erotókritos , a poem epic of ten thousand worms writes in the idiom crétois.
