Vicente Aranda

Vicente Aranda Ezquerra (born the November 9th 1926 with Barcelona), is a Réalisateur and Scénariste of Spanish Cinéma . The love, the erotism, cruelty, are the recurrent themes of its films, tackling social and political subjects. It also carried to the screen several contemporary novels. Lovers , his film universally recognized, gained several prices including one Goya.

Biography

Vicente Aranda Ezguerra is the son junior by a family originating in the Aragón, arrived at Barcelona at the beginning of the 20th century. Its childhood was marked by the Spanish Civil war, during which its family took the party of the republicans. Since its more young age, it achieves a great number of different work in Barcelona to earn its living, without relation with the cinema.
