Vice-president placed near the first president of a French Court of Appeal
The vice-president placed near the first president of the Court of Appeal performs the same functions as the Juge placed near the first president of the Court of Appeal. But it is about a magistrate of the first rank, i.e. of a higher hierarchical row.
It has thus vocation to carry out replacements or with being affected temporarily as vice-president, possibly in charge of the functions of Juge of the application of the sorrows, of Juge of the children, Juge of authority or Examining magistrate.
It can also be affected in all the other functions of its rank to the Court of Appeal, in a Court of Bankruptcy or a County court.
By defect, it is, as the judge placed, affected in the Court of Bankruptcy of the seat of the Court of Appeal or in the Court of Bankruptcy most important of the department where seat Court of Appeal.
It is subject to the same rules of duration of exercise of the functions as the Juge placed near the first president of the Court of Appeal, like at the same priorities of nomination in another function.
It thus does not seem to have any priority to be named to advise of Court of Appeal.
