Vic Akers
Victor David Akers (born the August 24th 1946 with Islington, London) is a former player of Football to manage today. It is currently charged with the equipment of the team of Arsenal FC and is the general manager of the Arsenal Ladies since its creation in 1987.
Career of player
Akers played back left for Cambridge United (122 matches between 1971 and 1974) and Watford (22 matches between 1974 and 1975) like central defender.
Career of managing
It joined Arsenal in 1986 and founds Arsenal Ladies in 1987. It directed Arsenal Ladies during each major competition of English female football and has brings the team to the victory of the female UEFA Cup in April 2007.
