Vibrisse

The vibrisses are Sensors specific to certain animals, of which the Mammifère S. They are long wire sensitive to the Vibration S.

  • At the Horse, they are long the Poil S being all around the mouth. They are useful for the horse when it cannot see what it feels since it is too near and cannot surely have a cast.

  • At the Cat-like Cat, others S and Rodent S, they are what is called the “moustache”.
  • the vibrisses of the birds are in fact of the setiform feathers. For the night raptors, naturally Presbyope S, located around the nozzle, these feathers would be used to examine their preys.
