Viaduct of Venaus
The viaduct of Venaus is a project of Viaduc on the line of train at high speed Lyon-Turin. Its opening is envisaged in the neighborhoods of 2018. Work however started, the viaduct being used of feature-of union between the basic Tunnel of the Mount of Ambin, from which the first drillings began, and the Tunnel as Bussoleno.
The viaduct is located in the Franco-Italian common part of the project, and its realization was entrusted to the company Lyon Turin Ferroviaire L.T.F. S.A.S.. The viaduct envisaged is long 790 m and a height from approximately 80 Mr. It meets, just like the global project, a strong opposition in the Val of Suse, directed by the movement NO TAV
