Vessels of time (original title: The Time Ships ) is a novel of Stephen Baxter published in 1995. This novel is a continuation of the Machine to explore time H.G.Wells . By an extraordinary chance, the narration of this second voyage arrived in Stephen Baxter, one century exactly after the publication in 1895, of the Machine to explore time. One finds there of Morlocks which has a advanced technological civilization. It is also the history of the discovery of parallel worlds , solution with the temporal paradoxes .

Novel written in the style of that of " The machine to explore the temps" but with an intrigue and a control of the temporal paradoxes quite higher than the book of H.G. Wells. But it is true also that 100 years separate the 2 novels…
