Vesgre
The Vesgre is small a French Rivière, of 46 km length, Affluent of Right Bank of the the Eure, which runs in the departments Yvelines and of Eure-et-Loir.
Cours
Vesgre takes its source in the common of the Bréviaires in the Forêt of Rambouillet, immediately in the south of the ponds of Holland to 170 m of altitude. Its course is initially directed towards the west, inflects towards the North-West starting from Cop-on-Vesgre, then frankly towards north starting from Boncourt, little before being thrown in the Eure with Roadway-in Ivry to 57 m of altitude.Its principal affluents are:
- out of Right Bank:
- the Ru of the Quentin Bridges (or Ru of Grapelin) (15 km), emissary of the ponds of Holland which joined Vesgre in the commune of Gambais.
- Sausseron (4,6 km), which is born with the locality Saulx-Richebourg , in the commune of Richebourg, and joined Vesgre at the entry of Houdan.
- out of left bank:
- the Opton (17 km), which is born with Hauteville with 170 meters from altitude, and joins Vesgre at the exit of Houdan in the park of the hospital, with 90 meters of altitude, that is to say an average slope of 4,7%.
The length of its course in Yvelines east of 23,1 km and 22,9 km in the Eure-et-Loir.
