Vervain
The kind Verbena (the vervains ) is the principal one representing of the family of the Verbénacées. It gathers Plante S often originating in America. The most known species is Verbena officinalis (common vervain), cosmopolitan species to which one allotted in the Antiquity of the miraculous virtues. It is advisable to announce that the vervain lemongrass ( Aloysia triphylla ) does not belong to the kind Verbena but to a very close kind, also classified to him in Verbénacées.
The etymology of the name was discussed.
