Veruza is a character of the Manga Fly.

It is the last intelligent Dragon. A long time ago took place a terrible combat between him and another Dragon, Borikusu, for the domination. This combat became legendary, and known under the name the duel of the real termagant . The characteristic of this duel is that the two participants are in the middle of a terrible mass of energy which prevents any external intervention. It is a duel of this type which reproduce Fly and Hadora.

15 years earlier it tried to dominate the Earth, and was overcome by Baran, the Knight of the Dragon, to which it dedicates a savage hatred consequently.

Since, its immortal heart is locked up in the celestial world, it cannot escape from it in spite of its power.

He is the large rival of Ban for the domination of the Earth. It is him which dispatches Kilvan at Ban, to follow its actions, and to remove it if necessary.

After the death of Round of applause, it orders in Kilvan to destroy the Earth.
