History

Economy

In 1940 the installation the company Roussel-Uclaf in the middle of the commune causes an economic boom which will flash back on the village as in the valley of the Dore. This pharmaceutical site, belonging today to the company Sanofi-Aventis, has a manpower of more than 700 people and use of many under treating in the valley.
