Vernier engine

A vernier engine is an engine complementary to weak push of a Fusée, being used to adjust in direction and the push applied to an space engine forces some. The vernier engine can be used after the stop of the principal system of propulsion.

The vernier engine owes its name to the mathematician Pierre Vernier: the sliding gauge indicates in the beginning a device making it possible to refine the reading of an measuring instrument.
