the Abbot Alexandre de Plater is buried in the cemetery of Verneuil. He is the author of an exceptional book, " Of a castle of Courlande to a presbytery nivernais" , Subervie editions, 1959. Witness of the Russian Revolution, priest with Warsaw in particular in the Jewish ghetto, it is a life out of the commun run. This book is a crossing of the century.
