Town of Ligny

With the top of the Rock of the Three Tortas a village, called was the " formerly; town of Ligny". At last century, one still saw remainders of walls enclosing of the gardens or indicating old houses. Who destroyed this city? … The ones show the war (devastations of the One hundred Year old War 1337-1453 - then Guerre of the League of the Public property -1464) of others the plague which decimated the unhappy inhabitants. The plantations of fir trees covered the ruins with the town of Ligny, and today, made some disappear to the trace.

• Church Holy Martial Xii-16th centuries. It contains frescos over Saint Martial of XVIe and 17th century.
• Rock of the Three Tortas , composed of three enormous blocks superimposed and being always decreasing in their pyramidal form, so that around the second one can circulate on that which is used as a basis. The last is perforated at its top. While passing the arm by the opening, one exerts a rotation movement with a stone which is inside the cavity. In the country, one calls the noise of this stone " the sound of the cloche". In retreat of the monument, leant with the hill, one finds a furnace bridge druidic destroyed but recognizable. One could not better choose sad and wild place to fascinate imagination. Were the Three Tortas used as platforms crowned for haranguer the people before sacrificing victims on the contiguous furnace bridge?
