Verdict

In Right, a verdict indicates the solution of a criminal trial relating at the same time on the culpability and the marked sorrow. In French right, only the Courts of Assizes pronounce verdicts, by way of Arrêt.
On the culpability, it can be a question either of a payment ( not culprit ), or of a Condamnation ( guilty ), with possibly of the extenuating circumstances.
