The Verdicchio di Matelica is a white Wine Italian of the area Marches equipped with a name DOC. since July 21st, 1967. Only to DOC. the white wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in the provinces of Ancône and of Macerata in the communes of Matelica, Esanatoglia, Gagliole, Castelraimondo, Camerino and Pioraco in province of Macerata like partly in the communes of Cerreto d' Esi and Fabriano, in province of Ancône.

Organoleptic characteristics

• color : yellow straw
• odor : characteristic, delicate, fresh with flavors of fishing
• savor : dryness, expenses, slightly land-mark (amarognolo)

The Verdicchio di Matelica is tasted at a temperature ranging between 7 and 9°C. It will keep 1 - 2 years.
