The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi passito is a white Wine soft Italian containing grapes passerilé of the area Marches equipped with a name DOC. since August 11th, 1968. Only to DOC. the white wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in the provinces of Ancône and of of Macerata in the communes of Apiro, Belvedere Ostrense, Castelbellino, Castelplanio, Cupramontana, Maiolati Spontini, Mergo, Montecarotto, Monte Roberto, Morro d' Alba, Poggio San Marcello, Rosora, San Marcello, San Paolo di Jesi, Serra de' Conti, Staffolo like partly in the communes of Arcevia and Serra San Quirico. This zone called classico is close to the Esino river. Without the label classico, the vineyards of the communes Barbara, Manor house Colonna, Castelleone di Suasa, Corinaldo, Monterado, Ostra, Ostra Vetere and Ripe are also authorized.

Name is at the south of the vineyard Lacrima di Morro d' Alba.
