Vera Ignatieva Moukhina , born in 1889 and deceased in 1953, is a Soviet sculptrice famous.

It was artist of the People of the the USSR and active member of the Academy of Beautiful arts of the USSR. It remarkably contributed to the development of the monumental Sculpture and the Soviet Portrait. One can speak, in connection with his work, of Official art.
