Aventure in Australia is an album of Cartoon, the thirty fourth of the series the adventures of Spirou and Fantasio.

Synopsis

The Count de Champignac, accompanied by young professor, Walker Donahue, thinks of having made an extraordinary discovery in Australia, namely an immense indigenous monolith in the surroundings of mining village. He asks Spirou and Fantasio to join them. Those thus go to the country kangaroos, accompanied by Seccotine, which was essential. On the spot, Donahue teaches them that the Count was killed by minors…

After investigation, it proves that the Count did not die but the heroes find all in bad posture, vis-a-vis Sam, a gangster who grows rich by holding to ransom the prospectors. This one ends up dying when its truck explodes because of a nitroglycerin bottle. Thanks to the aboriginals of which they were done allies, Spirou, Donahue and the Count put in rout the men of Sam whereas they tried to eliminate Fantasio and Seccotine. Finally, the monolith is discovered and the aboriginals conclude an agreement from resource sharing with the prospectors, who are grateful to them to have removed them from Sam.
