Venous ligament of the liver
The venous ligament of the liver is the vestige of the Canal of Arantius; this last allowed at the time of the fetal Circulation to derive a big part from the venous flow of the fetus since the umbilical Veine and the Portal vein towards the lower Vena cava without crossing the Foie whose role then is very reduced.
