Veli-Pekka Ketola
Veli-Pekka Ketola (born the March 28th 1948 with Pori in Finland) is a former player of Hockey evolving/moving with the position of center in the Sm-liiga, the Worldwide association of hockey and the National league of hockey.
Career on the ice
Veli-Pekka Ketola begins its career in 1963 with the Karhut Pori (which became in 1967 Ässät Pori). He will play 10 seasons in the Finnish championship, obtaining much success there, before letting himself allure by the North America in 1974. He will spend three seasons in the AMH with the Jets of Winnipeg and the Cowboys of Calgary before turning over to spend 3 seasons with Ässät Pori. In spite of the fact that the Canucks of Vancouver made him sign a contract the March 6th 1979, Ketola returned to America only for the season 1981-82 to dispute 44 matches with the Rockies of Colorado. It will turn over the following season in Finland with the KalPa Kuopio before drawing its reverence.
He became trainer-chief of Ässät Pori for the season 1993-94 and 1996-97.

Six times named on the Star team of Sm-liiga.
- Established with the Temple of re-elected hockey of Finland in 1990.
- Gained the title of better player of Finland in 1974 and 1978.
- Gained the Trophée Matti Keinonen in 1978-79.
- Its number 13 was withdrawn by Ässät Pori.
- It gained the Trophée Veli-Pekka Ketola the year when it was introduced (1978).
- Carried out the championship of the markers of Sm-liiga in 1971.
