Veined Río of Dios

The Río Madre of Dios is a navigable tributary of a tributary of the Madeira, itself flow of the the Amazon. Its basin located at half with the Peru in the Area of Veined of Dios, and at half in Bolivia, covers a surface of more than 100  000 km ². It is in a very sprinkled zone of the Amazonia subandine what explains its important flow. It has a very good navigability.

It is born in the buttresses from the Orientale cordillera from the Peruvian Andes, in the North-East of Cuzco. It is consisted the ríos Manu, Alto Veined of Dios, Tacuatimanu or of Mow Piedras, Inambari, Medio Madre of Dios, which converge close to the town of Puerto Maldonado in Peru. Starting from this point, it takes the Veined name of Bas of Dios , and enters shortly after to Bolivia in Puerto Heath. It runs then on a distance of 483 km in direction SOUNDS towards Riberalta where it is thrown in the Río Beni.

It is navigable since Puerto Maldonado to its confluence with Blessed. Blessed throws itself in its turn in the Mamoré with Villabella to form the Río Madeira.
