Vein jugular external

The external jugular vein or jugular external is a surface vein of the neck which receives blood coming from the outside of limps cranial and of the major parts of the face.

It occurs in the Parotid gland on the level of the angle of the Mandibule by the fusion of the Veine temporomaxillaire with the posterior auricular Veine.

It goes down according to a line connecting the angle from the mandible with the medium from the Clavicule to the edge postérieu from the Sternocleidomastoid muscle.

It is completed behind first coast on the level of the former scalene Muscle while being thrown in the Veine subclavian.
