Veilleux bay-tree

Laurier Veilleux was born with Saint-Benjamin, in Beauce, on September 30th, 1946.

Poet and short story writer at his hours, Laurier Veilleux holds a baccalaureat are Arts of the Seminar of Saint-Georges de Beauce and a license in letters of the Université Laval with Quebec. In 1987, it obtains a control in literary creation of the Faculty of Arts of the Laval University under the direction of the poet Jean-Christmas Pontbriand. He teaches today with the François-Xavier-Garneau College and the Laval University. He published four collections of poetry in 1992 and 1998. Its poetry, between the softness of the snow and the violence of the glaciers, draft of the existence in the beauty of its course, as in the pain of its finality; small things and great equations; fear, hope and pit which gather them.
