Večernje novosti , in Serb Cyrillic Вечерњеновости, is a Serb Quotidien published in Belgrade. It was founded in 1953 as an evening paper. It is often familiarly called Novosti .
Večernje novosti was founded in 1953 at the time of the crisis of Trieste.
More recently, Novosti was associated with the mode Slobodan Milošević, whose newspaper was one of the spokesperson. After the Revolution of the bulldozers (October 5th 2000, the editor association of the time, Dušan Cukić, near to Milošević, was replaced by Manojlo Vukotić, with like mission of modifying the ultra-preserving image of the newspaper.
The February 4th 2006, the player of basketball Vlade Divac expressed its intention to invest in Novosti . And two press groups, Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung and Northcliffe , a division of the Daily Mail and General Trust also, a little later expressed their desire to take part in the capital of the newspaper.
