Vauvenargues ( Vauvenarga in Of Provence according to the traditional Standard and Vauvenargo according to the Standard mistralienne) is a common French, located in the department of the Rhone delta and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.
Geography
Into full maquis, the commune is located on the northern slope of the Montagne Holy-Victoire and with the south of the mountain of Ubacs, and upstream of the lake-tank of the Barrage of Bimont. It is to approximately 14 km in the east of Aix-en-Provence to which it is connected by a small secondary road.Localities and variations

- Vault and principal frontage of the priory of Holy-Victoire (gone back to 1656 and 1661, private property). Registered on the additional Inventory of the historic buildings by decree of September 7th, 1978.
Civil inheritance
- Castle of Vauvenargues (including interior decoration dating from the 18th century). Registered voter on the additional Inventory of the historic buildings by decree of January 15th, 1929. The castle is bought by Picasso in September 1958, and the artist will be buried in the park of the castle after his death.
