Vauréal
Located in the department of the Valley of Oise, Vauréal is one of the twelve communes of the Communauté of agglomeration of Cergy-Pontoise. Created under the impulse of the State, this new city was born in 1971 and marked the true starting point of the development of Vauréal. Small village of 800 hearts only fifteen years ago, the common one counts today more than 16.000 inhabitants. They are called Vauréalien () S.
Geography

History
The name of the commune comes from Latin vallis regalis , the royal valley.
The existence of a Allée covered on the territory of the commune attests the presence of the man as of the Neolithic . Called in the past Places and dependence of Jouy-le-Moutier, the village is set up in parish in 1252, because of its important population vigneronne.
