Vault-with-Mardore is a common French, located in the department of the the Rhone and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Located in the Rhone, the green Beaujolais wine (high beaujolais wine) and in a baswse left the Massif Central.

History

In 1100, a first vault is born. Until 1803, the Vault of Mardore is a simple appendix of Mardore. In 1832, the growth of the population obliges the enlarging of this vault. In 1849, become too small, the church is widened by two side aisles. Only the Bell-tower, the wall carrying the eye of ox and the main door are preserved.

stone with the ass: rock resembling a clamping plate ready to leap which is in fact a terminal located at semi way between Roanne and Villefranche on the old Roman way which was there; a man of the church attached his ass there before admiring the landscape.
the rock with the fairies: cluster of rock which preserves water in a hollow during 365 days. The little story tells that in fact the fairies by leaving this place cried so much that the hollows filled of water and run always even during the heat wave and the freezing.
the Madonna: rule of the Virgin Mary contruite in 1902. Notre-Dame of the gilded pines is in the center of a park accommodating each year, at August 15th, a mass into full air.
the church: built on the remainder of the old vault going back to approximately 1100, this church has two side aisles and of execrable paintings of chorus going back to 1853 until this which are renovated between 2006 and 2007.
