Vault-of-Fougeretz the is a common French, located in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine and the area Brittany.

Geography

The Vault of Fougeretz is located on old the road of Saint-Malo (currently road of the pieces of furniture) at 6 km at the north of Rennes. Equipped with a surface of 871 hectares, the commune is located on an oscillating plate between 41 and 95 meters of altitude. Several communes divide borders with the Vault of Fougeretz: - Montgermont in the South - Pacé in the West - Saint-Gregoire in the East - Melesse in the North-East - Mézière in North

The geographical location of the commune, proximity with Rennes, enables him to belong to Rennes Métropôle and thus to be served by the network of bus of the STAR. The line of the Vault is the n°52 busy by Montgermont and making it possible to rejoin Villejean university in 25 minutes (16 stops including 6 on the commune - to see 7 in line 52/68).

History

Twinning

The Vault of Fougeretz is twinned with the Commune of Kalchreuth (3055 inhabitants), in Germany, not far from Nuremberg. By this twinning, the two communes are étroitements bound and thus proceed to exchanges school, sporting, cultural or social.

More recently, the commune was twinned with the town of Lechlade, in Great Britain (South-western), town of 2700 inhabitants, crossed by the Thames. This twinning is animated by association TY TIME.

Church: It goes back from the XIXème century, type Romane, entirely renovated in 2006-2007.

The Roman bridge: Bridge going back to several millenia in the vicinity of which statutes (being useful then for barter) of the same time were discovered.

Stanley: High place of the night life chapelloise. Soon 30 years of experience for this cordial discotheque with the stone chimneys (very pleasant the winter). The discotheque is also provided with a terrace, a garden and a pond (the very pleasant whole in summer). Geographically located on the commune of Saint-Gregoire, it is nevertheless closer to the center of the Vault of Fougeretz.
