Michael Everson (born on January 1st 1963) is an expert as regards written forms of the world. It is a Linguiste, a Compositeur, and an originator of police force, and is one of the joint authors of the standard of Unicode.
Life
Everson was born with Norristown, Pennsylvania, and moved with Tucson, Arizona at the twelve years age. Its interest for work of J.R.R. Tolkien led it to the Vieil English and then with the others Germanic languages. He studied the German , the Spanish , and the French for his B.A. at the university of Arizona (1985), and with the history of the religions and Indo-European linguistics for his M.A. at the University of California, Los Angeles (1988). He moved with Dublin in 1989, and obtained a Bourse Fulbright to study with the faculty of the Celtic studies , University College off Dublin (1991). He was naturalized as an Irish citizen in 2000. In September 2004, it moved with Westport, Comté of Mayo. It is Bouddhiste.
Work
Everson is in activity in the communities of support of the minority languages, particularly in the fields of the standardization and the Internationalisation of Codage of the characters. In addition to being one of the joint authors of the standard of Unicode, he is a writer of contribution to ISO/CEI 10646, the ISO 15924, and RFC 3066. He contributed to the coding of many writings and characters in these standards, receiving the reward of " bouledogue" of Unicode in 2000 for its technical contributions to the development and the promotion of the standard of Unicode.Everson was actively implied in the coding of many writings in the standards of Unicode and ISO/CEI 10646, including the Balinese, the Braille, the Bouguis, the bouhide, the cherokee, the Copte, the Cunéiforme, the Cypriot Syllabaire, the Déséret, the Ethiopian , the Géorgien, the Glagolitique, the Gotique, the hanounóo, the Khmer , the Limbou, the Linéaire B, the Mongolian , the Burmese , the New cut, the KB, the ogam, the old italic, the Wedge-shaped persépolitain, the Osmanais, the Phénicien, the Runes, the Shavien, the Singhalais, the tagalog, the tagbanoua, the Taï it, the Thâna, the Tibetan, the Ougaritique, the Canadian indigenous spelling-book unified, and the Yi, as well as much of characters belonging to the Latin , the Greek , the Cyrillic , and with the Arab .
It also has an interest for the design of eye of a character, and in the Typographie Gaelic in particular, and makes a considerable quantity of composition of books in the Irish.
