Vassily Smyslov

Vassily Vassiliévitch Smyslov (in Russian ВасилийВасильевичСмыслов) (born the March 24th 1921 with Moscow, Russia -) is a world champion of the failures.

Biography

In 1938, Smyslov gained the championship of the USSR junior. The same year, it took part in the match of decides between for the first place of the championship of Moscow.

It was second with the tournament of 1948 which saw the victory of Mikhaïl Botvinnik. It could again try its chance in 1954 and 1957, which was the good one.
