Vassili Barsoukov
Vassili Nikolaïévitch Barsoukov was a pilot of hunting and Soviet As of the Second world war, holder of the Ordre of Héros of the Soviet Union.
Career
- Born on August 6th, 1922 close to Kalinine, it followed the courses of the Aéroclub of Metrostoï , with Moscow, and joined the Red Army in 1941 and was patented pilot with the military academy of the Air of Tchernigov .

In July 1942 it was transferred as serzhant (= Sergent) to the 18.GuIAP (=régiment of air hunting of the Garde), initially on Yak-1 then on Yak-3. At the time of the Battle of Koursk, in July 1943, it obtained at least 3 victories air . In January 1944, promoted starshii leitenant (= lieutenant), it accepted the command of a Escadrille of the 18.GuIAP , and finished the war like Capitaine.
