Vassal States of papacy
With the wire of the times various States are reflected under the vassalage of Rome:
In Italy, the Norman kingdom of Sicily
England, under the reign of Jean without Ground
In Spain, the Aragon. In 1068, Sanche recognizes vassal Aragon of the pope. In 1204, Pierre II of Aragon is made crown with Rome and returns the liege Hommage to the Pape Innocent III.
In 1234, the pope Gregoire X recognizes like papal stronghold the grounds of the Chevaliers Teutoniques.
