Varvarin

Varvarin , in Serb Cyrillic Варварин, is a city and a municipality of Serbia located in the district of Rasina. In 2002, the city counted 2.198 inhabitants and the municipality of which it is center 20.122.

In 1810, the area of Varvarin was the theater of an important battle between the Turks and an army made up of Russians and the Serb ones.
