Variations of identity

Ecarts of identity is a review created and published since 1992 with Grenoble by association ADATE. During thirteen years, its publication was quarterly. In 2005, it becomes semi-annual by changing format, passing from a format magazine to a format re-examined.

This review belongs to the network of the plural Revues which gathers magazine publishers sensitive to the questions of the migrations and intercultural questions.

The ADATE

The ADATE is an association law 1901, created in 1974 in Isere within the framework of the installation of the domestic network of reception of the foreign workers. Since, it accompanied and followed the upheaval of the migratory landscape as well in its social and legal evolutions as in its cultural changes. It contributes, with its network of partners, with the emergence of a new citizenship which develops the contributions and the memory of immigration.

Today, the field of its actions is defined by the triptych migration, equity and interculturality, through the access to the rights, the interpretership & translations, insertion & the fight against discriminations, the intercultural development, local development for integration and the accompaniment & lodging of request asylums.
