Variable of the type RS Canum Venaticorum
The stars of standard RS Canum Venaticorum are a type of variable star, named according to the paradigm RS CVn. They are double stars tight having Chromosphère S active which lead to variations of their Luminosité. The period of variation is, in general, close to the period of rotation of the binary system. The variations of luminosity can also come owing to the fact that certain systems are also binary with eclipses. The typical variation of luminosity is of 0,2 magnitude.
