Vargèse
Vargèse is a small station of Savoy (with “its lake, its casino”…), left the imagination of Hergé, present in the Adventures of OJ, Zette and Jocko and in Adventures of Tintin and Milou .
The Maharajah de Gopal spends his holidays there, just as OJ, Zette, their parents and their Jocko monkey. In Tintin in Tibet , to defer it to the houppette makes excursion in the neighbouring mountains; Milou, the Captain Haddock and the Professor Tournesol accompany it. They go down to the Hotel from the Summits.
The commune appears in the albums:
- the Valley of the Cobras (1957) ( Adventures of OJ, Zette and Jocko ).
- Tintin in Tibet (1960) ( Adventures of Tintin and Milou ).
