Vardan Oskanian

Vardan Minasi Oskanian (ՎարդանՄինասիՕսկանյան, born the February 7th 1955, Syria), is a Politician Arménie N. He is Foreign Minister since 1998.

Biography

The family of its father is originating in the Anatole city of Kahramanmaraş and had survived the Armenian genocide. The family of its mother had already taken refuge in Aleppo of persecutions of Turkish, or is a great Armenian community. It is which Oskanian went to school. In 1973 it settled in Soviet socialist République of Arménie to study there the Civil engineering with Erevan. In 1981 they left to Boston (the United States) and changed its name of Oskanjan with Oskanian. It obtained a master in engineering in 1983, a master in political science with the Université Harvard in 1986 and 1991 a third master in right and diplomacy.

Like his/her uncle, Vardan Oskanian would have to become diamond wholesaler in Los Angeles. But as soon as the Armenian Republic became independent, it is turned over to Erevan in 1992. In 1998 it denies its American nationality and takes again Armenian nationality.

Oskanian is known like an honest and qualified polititien.

Oskanian speaks Armenian, Arab and English. He is married with American Dr. Nani Oskanjan which is pediatrist. The couple has two wire which have American nationality and lives with Erevan.
