Vannoccio Vincenzio Austino Luca Biringuccio known as Vannoccio Biringuccio was master craftsman out of cast iron and metallurgy of S. It was born with His in 1480 where it will be baptized the October 20th. The date of its death is not either known precisely but it would be deceased before the April 30th 1539. Its work Of Pirotechnia , published in 1540, is known to be the first printed work covering the vast domain of the metallurgy. It is illustrated by 94 engravings on wood and treats principal ores initially: the Gold, the money, the Copper, the Lead, the tin and the Iron. The work approaches then semi-minerals (like the mercury or the Soufre), the analysis and the preparation ore for the cast iron, the explosives. Like Calbus Fribergius, it is quoted by Agricola in the foreword of the Re Metallica :

" Naked per uerò Vannocius Biringuccius Senensis, homo disertus, & multarum Re rum peritus, uulgari Italorum sermonize tractauit locum metallis funden say, separandis, agglutinandis."
