Vander

Vander ( 超機動員ヴァンダー , chōkidōinvandā ) is a Manga of Masakazu Katsura, serialized starting from end 1985 in Weekly Shônen Jump and published in volumes in 1987 by Jump Comics (republished in 1995 and 2001). It comprises eighteen scenes.

Summary of the history

Into the Years 1980, a Météorite falls on Ground and marks the arrival of Extraterrestre S violent ones, able to change and having many capacities. To fight them, the police force develops armours of combat.

Two years later, this armor is exceeded, and its successor is created: called “Vander”, this weapon uses the energy of the Amour between a Homme and a Femme.

Minaho Morimura is one of the recruits for this program. The first test with a lieutenant fails, and dépitée it leaves to have fun in a Amusement park, involving on a large wheel Hiroshi Fujieda, teenager whom it does not know absolutely and which with the Phobie of the young women.

Suddenly an extraterrestrial attack. Not wanting to die, Minaho embraces of Hiroshi force, both amalgamate in Vander and cut down the monster.

Characters

Minaho Morimura (): at nineteen years it is always full with energy, and dreams to find a boyfriend ideal. It falls easily in love, but never manages to leave with a boy.
Hiroshi Fujieda (): teenager who with the phobia of the women, it dreams to be a police officer. He is extremely gifted with the video games.
Genji Yamanari (): chief of the police force, it has under his responsibility the Vander project. Hating Hiroshi, it will try to use its phobia to make him leave the police force.
Toshio Sawada (): Enquiring, he is the inventor of the battle dresses of the police force.
Keiko Okamoto (): police, it is one of the people using the first generation of battle dresses.
